Malawi has received 32 million US dollar (188 mio. DKR) from the World Bank to improve the quality of primary school education and to support the decentralization of education management through direct involvement of schools and communities, Nation Online of Malawi reported Wednesday.
Da Danmark var aktiv med bistand i Malawi, var støtte til undervisningssektoren et stort og succesrigt program. VK-regeringen smækkede kassen i for Malawi efter sin tiltræden i november 2001. Malawi er det sydlige Afrikas formentlig fattigste land.
