International Media Support (IMS) fejrer sine første 15 år
Debate (2:00-3:30) followed by reception until 5 PM at Kosmopol.
Since 2001, IMS and partners have worked to ensure that people have access to reliable information and that those who work to promote press freedom have the necessary support to do so in the world’s conflict-affected countries and repressive regimes.
Join us for an open discussion on how IMS can continue to be relevant in a world where shifts in technology, political and economic models have expanded the opportunities for press freedom and access to information – but where these same global trends are also curbing the rights, safety and independence of media workers.
Panelists include:
Jesper Højberg, Executive Director of IMS
Andrew Puddephatt, Chairman of IMS, United Kingdom
Per Stig Møller, former Danish Minister of Foreign Affairs and founder of the Danish Arab Partnership Initiative
Rana Sabbagh, Director of Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism, Jordan
Louise Tunbridge, Programme Manager for Radio Ergo, Somalia/ Kenya
Lina Ejeilat, Executive Director of 7iber online magazine, Jordan
Antonina Cherevko, Programme Manager and Media Lawyer, IMS Ukraine
Ebbe Dal, Director, Danske Medier
Tine Johansen, Vice-president, Danish Union of Journalists
Moderator: Martin Breum, Journalist
