Job: Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark Danida seeks Programme Management Adviser

Programme Management Advisor (N1), Northern Uganda Resillience Initiative, (NURI)

 

 

 

As Programme Management Adviser (PMA) you are the overall coordinator and programme responsible for NURI, an initiative under the overall aim at improving the economy for the population in Northern Uganda. NURI focus on the agricultural development with the main beneficiaries being smallholder farmers as well as SMEs within agri-business. As PMA you will lead the Coordination Function (CF), established to oversee the implementation of NURI while the implementation itself will be carried out by a number of partners. The CF will operate as a decentralized unit under the Royal Danish Embassy in Kampala. You have an advanced university degree in development, agro-economics or other relevant area. You can prove extensive experience with management of similar development programmes or projects, preferably in East Africa and you have strong leadership skills. You are fluent in English.
