CISU-rådgiver blir 40

Hedebølge i Californien. Verdens klimakrise har enorme sundhedsmæssige konsekvenser. Alligevel samtænkes Danmarks globale klima- og sundhedsindsats i alt for ringe grad, mener tre  debattører.

Kandidat i internationale relationer og udviklingsstudier, Signe Atim Allimadi, Aarhus, fylder 40 onsdag d. 27. august 2014. 

Fødselaren var været ansat som rådgiver i NGO-samvirket Civilsamfund i Udvikling (CISU) siden 1. november i fjor.

Hun kom fra en stilling som seniorrådgiver i Sydsudan for Danida og det fælles donorkontor i landet.

Hun har arbejdet med demokratiseringsindsatser og fattigdomsbekæmpelse i Afrika for henholdsvis Danida og FN med udstationering i Uganda og Liberia.

Signe Allimadi indgår i CISUs team af rådgivere i domicilet i Aarhus midtby og bidrager til at levere rådgivning, kurser og støtte til medlemsorganisationerne.

Hun er uddannet fra Aalborg Universitet og født i Dar es Salaam i Tanzania.

CISU er en sammenslutning af flere end 260 folkelige danske organisationer, der alle er engagerede i virke i verdens u-lande – enten som deres hovedformål eller led i deres aktiviteter.

CISU er en uafhængig forening med egne vedtægter, bestyrelse og målsætninger.
