Danmarks Eksportråd inviterer nu NGOerne med til stor erhvervskonference til favørpris

Hedebølge i Californien. Verdens klimakrise har enorme sundhedsmæssige konsekvenser. Alligevel samtænkes Danmarks globale klima- og sundhedsindsats i alt for ringe grad, mener tre  debattører.

En stor konference primo marts om investerings- og forretningsmuligheder i Afrika for danske virksomheder åbnes nu også for NGO-repræsentanter, oplyser arrangøren, Danmarks Eksportråd, tirsdag til u-landsnyt.dk

De kommer ind for en favørpris af 650 kr. pr. person, mens firmaerne må betale 2.450 kr. pr. deltager, medmindre de er medlem af “Suppliers Network” og slipper 300 kr. billigere.

Det skyldes, at Danmarks Eksportråd driver såkaldt indtægtsdækket virksomhed. Altså tager den pris, det koster at holde arrangementet.

Der er mange ting at komme efter, også for NGOerne. Udover en perlerække af internationale navne fremlægger udviklingsminister Ulla Tørnæs (V) Danidas nye erhvervsstrategi, “Erhverv, Vækst og Udvikling”. Der er tillige adgang for pressen.

HER programmet i sin helhed:

Udenrigsministeriet har hermed fornøjelsen at invitere til konference med fokus på erhvervsmuligheder i Afrika. Konferencen henvender sig både til store og små danske virksomheder med interesse for at gøre forretning i Afrika.

Formålet er at give forståelse, inspiration og konkrete forslag til bæredygtige samarbejdsprojekter, enten via direkte investeringer eller ved gennemførelse af internationalt finansierede projekter.

Konferencen indledes af Udviklingsminister Ulla Tørnæs, der offentliggør Danidas nye erhvervsstrategi ”Erhverv, vækst, udvikling” med fokus på Afrika.

Herefter vil Den Internationale Finansieringsorganisation (IFC) i Verdensbankgruppen (bankens erhvervs-vindue), den Afrikanske Udviklingsbank (AfDB), den Europæiske Investeringsbank (EIB), EUs bistandsprogram for Afrika (EDF) og Verdensbanken præsentere deres respektive indsatser for Afrika samt projekttyper, der finansieres.

Programmet indeholder videre indlæg fra Kenyas regering, pensionskassen PKA, GoGlobal initiativet samt cases fra henholdsvis en dansk og afrikansk virksomhed, der har set mulighederne og etableret forretning i Afrika.

Afrika er kommet på top 10 listen på den internationale dagsorden. Verdensbanken, EU, den Afrikanske Udviklingsbank og ikke mindst Danmark støtter gennem en lang række programmer og kreditfaciliteter initiativer, der kan sætte gang i den økonomiske vækst.

Der er brug for opstart af nye virksomheder, overførsel af teknologi og knowhow, infrastruktur, sundhedsvæsen, uddannelse, offentlige reformer og meget mere. Investeringer og forretningsmuligheder i Afrika er derfor interessante for danske virksomheder og organisationer.

Samtidig er erhvervsklimaet i flere afrikanske lande blevet forbedret, hvilket har tiltrukket regionale investeringer, ikke mindst fra Sydafrika. Konferencen vil samtidig fokusere på, hvordan man sikrer sine forretninger og dermed skaber bæredygtige resultater.

Konferenceprogrammet består af 2 dele.

Første del fokuserer på de mere overordnede vurderinger, strategier og politikker for de enkelte organisationer og myndigheder.

Anden del er mere praktisk orienteret med fokus på virksomhedernes konkrete muligheder for at opnå finansiel støtte.

Prisen for at deltage i konferencen er kr. 2.150,- pr. deltager for medlemmer af Suppliers-Network.

For andre virksomheder er prisen kr. 2.450,-. Prisen dækker organisering af konferencen, frokost og konferencemateriale.
