The US has offered Uganda 246 million US dollar (1,23 milliarder DKR) in new aid to help the east African country improve its health and agricultural systems.
Meanwhile, South African Stellenbosch Universitys Center for Chinese Studies Executive Director Martyn Davies said Monday, that all African economies bar South Africa will grow this year because of Chinas demand for their raw materials.
In related news, African governments, meeting in Addis Ababa, have declared their resolve to keep striving to meet substantial aspects of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs- 2015 Målene) and International Conference on Population and Development’s Program of Action (ICPD-PoA) over the next years.
