Papers by: Mandana Zarrehparvar, senior consultant with the Danish Institute for Human Rights; and Brigit Toebes, PhD, researcher and consultant, University of Aberdeen School of Law.

The seminar introduces the relationship between health and human rights with a special emphasis on migrants’ health, and presents the legal framework regulating the field (‘Danish law and international and European human rights law). Moreover, a rights based approach to access to health care for migrants is more specifically presented.

The seminar is held in cooperation between Danish Research Centre on Migration, Ethnicity and Health (MESU), The Danish Institute for Human Rights and The Migration Initiative at the University of Copenhagen
