Britiske BBC sender fra 18 april til 30 maj TV-serien ”Women on the Front line” – se www.bbcworld.com/Pages/Programme.aspx?id=174
Serien, der præsenteres af Annie Lennox, fortæller historien om voldsramte kvinder fra deres hjem og lokalsamfund i forskellige dele af verden. Seriens 7 afsnit er optaget i henholdsvis Nepal, Tyrkiet, Colombia, DR Congo, Mauritanien, Marokko og Østrig.
BBC-serien er støttet af UNFPA og UNIFEM (FNs Kvindefond) og lanceres på en pressekonference i Geneve den 18 April.
