Celebrating 10 years of develompent work – Nunca Más Anniversary

This year marks the ten-year anniversary of Nunca Más and the development work we have been doing in a number of countries in the Global South. For that occasion, we will be throwing an anniversary party on the 17th of November at Maskinhallen. There will be music and performances, a table for the little ones to draw, and opportunities to mingle and be inspired. It will be possible to buy Central American food and drinks at reasonable price and the surplus from the sale of food and beverage will go to the support of political prisoners in Nicaragua.

We invite all members, members of other like-minded civil society organizations and other interested citizens who are interested in the Global South, Human Rights, Psychosocial Work, and Civil Society Work in a shrinking space context, so be sure to share the message.

The program for the evening will look as follows:

17:00 Welcome & Introduction to Nunca Más, its history and its work with psychosocial issues and human rights in the Global South.
18:00 Music by Protestorkestret which plays political and revolutionary songs from the 1960s and 1970s in an historical and contemporary context.
19:30 “Dancing out of a human rights violation”. by David Sanchez (Member of the LGBTQIA+ community & a Honduran Human Rights Activist).
20:00 Danceable Latin-American Music with Scandinavian influences by Mambe. She conveys her activism through her melodic and powerful voice.
21:45 Show by David Sanchez
22:00 Goodbye and good night
