Palæstina og Vestsahara – to kampe for frihed

Both Palestine and Western Sahara are occupied. Palestine by Israel and Western Sahara by Morocco.

At this event, professor and head of the Center for Middle East Studies at the University of San Francisco, Stephen Zunes, will provide a historical background for the two conflicts and discuss how, amongst other things, the US has looked at these.

Stephen Zunes (born 1956) is an American international relations scholar specializing in the Middle Eastern politics, U.S. foreign policy, and strategic nonviolent action. He is known internationally as a leading critic of United States policy in the Middle East and an analyst of nonviolent civil insurrections against autocratic regimes.
