Ny britisk bistandspakke til Bangladesh

The British government will provide 150 million British pounds to Bangladesh as development assistance in 2010-2011 fiscal year (July 2010-June 2011), UKs Department for International Development Director General, Mark Lowcock said after meeting with Bangladeshs Foreign Minister Dipu Moni last Thursday.

Meanwhile, a World Bank economist said, that Bangladesh can make quick progress in its poverty alleviation efforts with Community Driven Development (CDD) approach, as the countrys “great human capital” still remains largely untapped.
