In Focus: China’s sector for renewable energy & the Tibet issue in Sino-Danish relations

7-18 December delegates from 192 countries are gathered in Copenhagen for the United Nations Climate Change Conference, COP15. During the summit a series of articles on Climate Change is published on the In Focus blog.

In this weeks In Focus blog, Nis Høyrup Christensen, PH.D, Danish Industry, writes about China’s renewable energy sector.

To follow up on the recent statement of the Danish government on independence of Tibet, you will also find the article Vikings vs the new economic superpower – the Tibet-issue in Sino-Danish relations by Clemens Stubbe Østergaard, Associate Professor, Aarhus University on this week’s blog.

In the In Focus section of the AsiaPortal we address an up-to-date topic and ask a Nordic expert in this area to write a short opinion in an attached blog. We warmly welcome researchers, students, experts and others interested in the topic to give their comments in the blog.

We would also like to form a network of people who would be interested in participating with opinions in future In Focus themes. Anyone interested can contact us on [email protected]
