A delegation of business women from four coffee companies in Ethiopia is in Denmark this week.
The companies are all members of the Center for Accelerated Women’s Economic Empowerment, CAWEE and owned by entrepreneurial business women with a social vision for their society.
A taste of coffee
The purpose of their visit is to establish contacts with Danish companies that could have an interest in importing green beans from Ethiopia. Throughout the week, the delegation will visit Danish coffee companies.

Linking Ethiopian and Danish Trade Interests
The visit is arranged by the the Danish Embassy in Ethiopia with the help of Danida Fellowship Centre and Lisbet Fich, Networking Consultants. It is part of the Embassy’s efforts to link Ethiopian and Danish trade interests.

While the first trade mission focuses on coffee and takes place this month, the second will focus on leather goods and jewellery/gemstones. This trade mission will include participation in Copenhagen International Fashion Fair, August 8-10.
