Seminar: Solving the Libya crisis (København)
Since 2011, Libya regularly makes headlines in international media as an epicentre for transnational terrorism and as a hub for undocumented migration.
Without negating the importance of these challenges, this panel brings attention to the drivers behind the threats to stability and security, and to the current efforts by the international community to address these.
What are the key domestic, regional and international drivers behind the crisis? What has the international community done to address these drivers? And why should a European small power like Denmark take an interest in addressing these threats and challenges?
The panel, which brings together top international experts on Libya with a number of Danish and international policy-makers, is organized in collaboration between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark and DIIS – Danish institute for International Studies.
Please note the venue is Nordatlantens Brygge.
