Birthday Bash: MellemRummet 9 years, Globalhagen 4 years (København)

Mellemfolkeligt Samvirkes café, MellemRummet, celebrates nine years of global connections, hot coffee & cold beer, chilling, volunteering, talking, singing and dancing – with a mighty party to show all those parties of the past who’s boss!

The event will mark the transition from supporting the platform in El Salvador to our new 2020-support project in Uganda with a musical changeover from Latin to African rhythms during the evening.

Cakes! Speeches! Rejoice!

The results are mesmerizing and his music have brought him around the world and led to collaborations with Damon Albarn (Blur, Gorillaz etc.) on the Africa Express project.

DJ Mambe (Colombia)
Is known from Mambe & Danochilango: the duo who created the genre global bass and have proclaimed themselves sonic travellers and citizens of the global village. All borders will be crossed, boundaries broken and genres redefined when Mambe turns up the volume in a universal explosion of rhythm!
With performances at this year’s Roskilde and WOMEX festivals, Mambe is ready to get the floor shaking at our Birthday Bash.
