JOIN GAME’S INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM ACTIVITIES IN COPENHAGEN

GAME is a fast-growing NGO working to create lasting social change through youth-led street sports and culture. Our young volunteers work to bridge divides and empower children and youth through street sports. The goal is to lower the threshold and enable more people getting involved in positive sports communities. We have programs in Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. We are looking for an International Program Officer who will be an important part of GAME’s onwards journey.

ABOUT THE POSITION
As International Program Officer, you will contribute to fundraising efforts and program management across the regions where GAME operates: MENA, Africa, and the Nordics. Working alongside colleagues in both Denmark and internationally, you will help secure funding and support the development and implementation of impactful youth empowerment programs.

AS AN INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM OFFICER YOU WILL

  • Lead the development and writing of concept notes, funding proposals, and applications to secure financial support from various donors and partners
  • Identify and pursue new fundraising opportunities to sustain and grow GAME’s international activities
  • Contribute to program development in both existing and new programs
  • Take on project management responsibility for selected projects, including coordination and monitoring of activities
  • Contribute to capacity building and support of colleagues and partners in the field of fundraising and project management
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across departments to ensure strategic alignment and maximise impact across all projects.

WE EXPECT THAT

  • You have a master’s degree or equivalent experience in international development, social sciences, or related fields
  • You have excellent written and communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences
  • You have experience in fundraising (desirable)
  • You are analytical, structured, development oriented and think creatively
  • You have NGO or volunteer experience (desirable)
  • You are willing and able to travel internationally
  • You are fluent in both Danish and English

THE PRATICALITIES
The start date is January 1st or sooner if possible. The position is full time with occasional weekend and evening work.
