Job: KVINFO is looking for a gender justice advisor with international experience
KVINFO is looking for a dedicated gender justice expert to join the international team and lead our work on technology facilitated gender based violence and gender based violence, facilitate workshops and engage in partnership relations with local civil society organisations. You will also contribute to other parts of the international team’s work, including knowledge production, capacity development, fundraising, policy & advocacy, as well as programme design and management. Extensive and regular travel is required for this position. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Danish is not required for the role, however, it is expected that the candidate will learn to speak or be familiar with basic Danish within a reasonable time frame.
Main Responsibilities
- Further develop KVINFO’s approach to GBV/TFGBV
- Support gender justice work with partners in countries where KVINFO operates
- Elaborate and facilitate workshops on gender justice, including on TFGBV and gender stereotypes
- Responsible for relations to certain partner organisations in one or more countries
- Contribute to knowledge production and learning on gender justice
Qualifications
We expect that
- You have a relevant educational background, for instance in gender studies
- You have profound experience with gender justice work in an international development context
- You are an experienced facilitator, perhaps with experience as a consultant
- You have strong analytical skills
- You have strong interpersonal skills
- You can work independently and collaboratively, with tight deadlines
It is an advantage if:
- You have proven experience in fundraising
- You are fluent in French
- You are familiar with one or more of the following countries: Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia and Moldova
Terms and conditions
The position is based in Copenhagen, 37 hours per week with start as soon as possible. Extensive travel is to be expected as part of the position. Salary, terms and conditions according to Statens Overenskomst (Danish state salary agreements).
