The voices of civil society and city dwellers on Grameen Bank and Muhammad Yunus have been published widely and positively in the media.
However, the voices of rural people particularly the women borrowers who are directly linked with the Grameen Bank, a Muhammad Yunus initiative, do not get adequately heard.
We have produced this video documentary with random interviewing of the borrowers (låntagere) in ten Bangladeshi villages to reveal the hidden truth on Grameen Bank’s interest rate (rentefod), instalments (afdrags) system, poverty alleviation, development impacts of the loans in rural poor’s life.
