Danske valgpenge til Nepal

Denmark has provided an additional aid of approximately 118,9 million Rupees (ca. 10 mio. DKR) as support to the Nepal Peace Trust Fund (NPTF).

According to the Embassy of Denmark, the additional fund, provided under the agreement between the two governments on April 4th 2007 and given couple of months after the initial support of Rs 120 million by Denmark, is chiefly for preparations for forthcoming Constituent Assembly elections slated for November 22.

The Ministry of Finance has already handed over the initial support of Rs 120 million to the Election Commissions for the same purpose, the embassy said.
