Direktøren for Fjerkrænetværket, Jens Christian Riise, forlader sin stilling og har i den anledning rundsendt følgende afskedshilsen:

It is with mixed feelings that I can announce that I will leave my position as Director of The Poultry Network on 1st April 2007 to take up a position as Research and Education Project Manager for an independent network organisation, The Academy for Technical Sciences in Lyngby, just north of Copenhagen (http://www.atv.dk/atveng/andet/body.html)

I am looking forward to new and exciting challenges as a “knowledge broker” between industry, science and politicians on a much broader scale than before. At the same time, I am surely going to miss my friendly, dedicated and highly intelligent colleagues in our Global Poultry Network.

I am sure that the Poultry Network will persist, despite changes in manpower and politics. History tells us that changes often create more opportunities than barriers.

I wish you all great successes with all your tasks, and thank you for your friendship and dedication in achieving common goals over the last 7 ½ years. Our friendship will persist, even if our work relations may be limited in the time to come.
