Capacity-building Workshop on Financing for Development and Gender Equality (København)

Rosa Lizarde, global director of the Feminist Task Force, will be facilitating a capacity-building workshop that aims to inform, educate and engage organisations about the gender perspective of the Financing for Development (FfD) process and development finance issues.

The workshop will examine the FfD process and how gender equality and women’s rights are critical to development finance and the SDGs in order to unveil and monitor the gaps and shortcomings of the present development financial system from a gender equality and women’s rights perspective.

This workshop is part of KULU-Women and Development’s (Kvindernes U-landsudvalgs) and Feminist Task-Force project, “Finance Gender Equality and Women’s Rights – Close the Gap”, which is part of the Citizens for Financial Justice project.
