Webinar: Human rights and democracy in Africa – and globally – in the shadow of the coronavirus with major risks for civil society organizations and civil leaders
The consultancy house “The Wilderness” http://thewilderness.dk/ hosts several different webinars on the Zoom platform in spring / summer 2020.
We would like to invite you to in our network, and you are welcome to share in your network as well.
There is plenty of room for many participants in the Zoom seminars. Participation in the seminars is free.
The seminar will focus on how the measures to limit the spread of the coronavirus in Africa – and globally – also has a negative impact on democracy and respect for human rights thus reinforcing already existing tendencies to authoritarian regimes in Africa. These regimes will use the opportunity of coronavirus to further undermine the democracy in many African countries.
