Mozambican transport minister Tomas Salomao is in Washington for meetings with representatives of the World Bank on funding for the reconstruction of the Sena railway line, according to the World Bank press review Tuesday.

Complete reconstruction of the line is expected to take three and a half years. The Washington negotiations are expected to result in a World Bank loan of 110 million US dollar for the line, without which the work cannot start.
