With Europes needs for a mobile telephone tower network covered, Rambøll Telecom looks to the growing market of India and Southeast Asia, reports JP Online Monday.
Engineering company Rambøll hopes to gain a foothold in the fast-growing mobile phone market in India, as the huge countrys mobile telephone market is expected to quadruple in the next three years.
Shifting Rambølls activities to India was a natural development, according to Ulrik Støttrup-Andersen, the marketing director of Rambølls telecom sector.
– In Southeast Asia, there is an explosive need for towers, said Støttrup-Andersen. Some 50.000 towers are expected to be erected in the coming years.
