Udviklingsminister Ulla Tørnæs (V) og generalsekretær i Dansk Røde Kors Jørgen Poulsen ankom torsdag morgen til Pakistan. De besøger torsdag en række organisationer i Islamabad og kører fredag morgen ud i de berørte områder bl.a. til Balakot og Mansehra.

Practical Information

What to wear:

It is recommended that women wear long sleeves, long skirts or if wearing long trousers it should preferable goes with long tops that cover the bottom. Trouser should not be too tight.

The weather is very changeable – hot during daytime and cold in the nights and it might rain. For the field trip it will be good to bring trekking boots or sport shoes.

Sleeping bags will be needed for accommodation in the Base Camp
