We don’t hear much about it these days, but the earthquake that hit Nepal a month back is still making the earth shake, leaving millions of people in constant fear for their lives. 

But we have not forgot what happened on April 25th and we know you have not either! So why don’t you come join us on Sankt Hans aften before heading out to a fire somewhere?!

We have arranged a nice evening for you in the company of Cadenza Collective, Nepal’s first jazz band. 

Their style will not let you stand still – a smooth blend of jazz, afro-funk and Nepali folk will make every cell in your body groove. And their good vibrations will encapsulate you in an atmosphere of love and joy. 

Danish Orcas will warm up your dancing feet with their live set of simply wailing garage rock. And DJ Bati Gayo will kick-off the show by exposing your ears to Asian and West African and other funky tunes.

The concert is for you to indulge in the good Nepalese spirits while you contribute to the rebuilding of their country – because through the ticket and bar sale, you are donating money!

This is how we will spend it:

• 25% provides salaries for teachers at Kathmandu Jazz Conservatory who are offering free music classes to orphanages and government schools
• 25% is invested in rebuilding a community in one of the worst hit districts,Sinduphalchowk, very near to the epicentre
• 50% will be distributed to the tireless efforts of grassroots organizations through the network We Help Nepal
