Protection of civilian has become a buzz-world in international politics. That rhetoric has been used by colonial powers with the United Nation’s accept to legitimate a certain military interventions in Africa.

The most known cases are the removal of President Gbagbo from power by France after a controversial president election in Côte d’Ivoire and the intervention of NATO in Libya.

Bernard Houdin, former president Gbagbo’s advisor is the guest of a group of Ivoirians living in Denmark. During the seminar, Mr Houdin will try to tell his story about what happened in Côte d’Ivoire after the controversial election in November 2010.

Journalists, students, scholars and civil society organizations are invited to this seminar.
