Good granting practices: Connecting funding and capacity development – Experiences from Bangladesh, Ghana and Tanzania
The Danish Civil Society Policy is emphasizing that Denmark increasingly will provide support through Multi Donor Pooled Funds (MDPF).
The Policy is furthermore highlighting that such funds must be accompanied by capacity development support as to facilitate development of a vibrant civil society and that the funds should have sufficient representation of CSOs in its governance structure as to ensure that services will be demand driven.
Fagligt Fokus will Thursday 2 October organise a seminar with representatives from funds in Bangladesh, Ghana and Tanzania on Good granting practices: Connecting funding and capacity development.
The objective is to discuss experiences and perspectives on how funding through MDPFs can be supported through demand driven capacity development.
