Mere viden og dybere indsigt

This one day seminar is a unique opportunity for people involved with victims or who wish to learn the cross-cultural perspectives on general victimology, the victims of organized violence and trauma rehabilitation and gain a broad understanding of these areas.

The seminar is open to all academic and practitioners who are interested in victims, victimization and victimology like lawyers, criminologists, economists, public health and medical professionals, political and social scientists, as well as psychologists.

Participation of students is highly encouraged.

The seminar is made possible by to contribution of the visiting expertise from Tokiwa International Victimology Institute (TIV), Japan and local expertise from Danish Institute against Torture (DIGNITY), Denmark.

TIVI is the only institution of this kind in Japan, which conducts international interdisciplinary research and teaching in victimology.

DIGNITY is a self-governing institution independent of party politics, and it is the biggest center of its kind in the world. The institute is organized in three broad themes: Rehabilitation, Detention and Urban Violence.

Timetable:

Morning sessions run from 9:15 am – 12.00 pm
Afternoon sessions run from 12.45 pm – 4.30 pm
