DEDI, WMF and KVINFO have the pleasure of inviting you to a public launch of the book Feminist and Islamic Perspectives: New Horizons of Knowledge and Reform, edited by Professor Omaima Abu Bakr from Cairo University. The aim of the book launch is to create a lively, interesting and stimulating debate on Islamic feminism in light of the Arab Uprisings of 2011 and the current political situation in the MENA region.

The presentations will be given by leading experts and scholars from the MENA region, Europe and North America. At the same time we will be launching the book Feminist and Islamic perspectives. New Horizons of Knowledge and Reform, edited by Professor Omaima Abu Bakr. The event is public and free of charge but registration is necessay.
