Hvordan sikrer vi seksuel og reproduktiv sundhed i en verden fuld af kriser?

Join a discussion with humanitarian experts

How do we ensure the protection of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) of women and girls in a crisis-prone world?

Every day, news reports reminds us of the magnitude of the suffering, and the raising needs that must be met in humanitarian settings. For a woman about to give birth, reproductive health services are as important as food and shelter.

UNFPA, the United Nations Population Fund invites you to a talk about SRHR in humanitarian settings together with the UNFPA Regional Response Coordinator in Syria, Dan Baker and the UNFPA Representative in Syria, Massimo Diana.

  • Is the humanitarian cluster fit to meet the particular needs of women in crisis?
  • How can humanitarian and development actors work together more efficiently and long-term for the protection of women’s and girls' SRHR?
  • How can the UN and civil society work more closely together?

These are some of the issues that will be raised by the speakers.

Massimo (Max) Diana, UNFPA Representative in Syria. Mr Diana has a long history of hands-on work experience in the humanitarian field from UNDP (Nepal, Sri Lanka, Sudan, and Bosnia and Herzegovin), UNHCR, the International Rescue Committee, GOAL Ireland, the International Management Group, and the Office of the High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Kindly register your participation on Eventbrite no later than 21 November.
