INFORMATION MEETINGS FOR APPLICANTS FOR DEVELOPMENT RESEARCH GRANTS 2015

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs hereby invites potential applicants for new research grants related to development research to information meetings in Denmark concerning the Call 2015.

In addition, for applicants for South Driven projects, information meetings will be held in Nepal (Kathmandu on 23 April 2014), Ghana (Accra on 13 May 2014), and Tanzania (Dar es Salaam on 21 May 2014).

Please note that the research themes for the Call 2015 for Phase 1 Applications (pre qualification) for both North and South Driven Development Research Projects will be published on 20 March, 2014 at http://dfcentre.com/research/calls-for-applications/ when the Call is issued by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Programme for the information meetings:
* Welcome and presentation of the Call and the Themes by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
* What constitutes a good application? Strategic aspects and criteria for selection. By the Consultative Research Committee for Development Research (FFU).
* The application process and the administration of the grants by Danida Fellowship Centre.
* Questions/discussion.
