The Future for a Democratic Ukraine

To mark that the full scale invasion of Ukraine started a year ago, DIPD is hosting a public event focusing on the future for a democratic Ukraine.

24 February marks one year since the brutal attack on Ukraine, the Ukrainian people, and the Ukrainian democracy. The war has caused massive damage across Ukraine. The international community is united in supporting and assisting Ukraine in these challenging times. It is vital that the commitment to Ukraine includes support to the reconstruction of the country’s democracy and the democratic institutions – both during and after times of war.

To mark the day, the Danish Institute for Parties and Democracy (DIPD) is hosting this public event focusing on the future for a democratic Ukraine.

Friday the 3rd of March from 14.00-16.00 at the Ukrainian House in Denmark, ‘Gammel Dok’

Here representatives of the Ukrainian Parliament and Ukrainian Ambassador to Denmark will share their aspirations for the future of a peaceful, prosperous, and democratic Ukraine in an exchange with the Danish Minister for Development Cooperation and Minister for Global Climate Policy, members of the Danish Parliament and experts.

Please join us for an afternoon spent in solidarity with the people of Ukraine.
