International donors Monday urged Vietnam to quicken projects and streamline procedures so that they can disburse (udbetale) their pledged official development assistance for the South East Asian country.
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) alone had more than 3,5 billion US dollar of committed loans for Vietnam yet to be disbursed, ADB Country Director for Vietnam Ayumi Konishi said.
Meanwhile, the government in Hanoi said, that it expects economic growth to pick up from next year after slumping to a 10 year low this year, with a goal to achieve a GDP growth of 6.5-7 percent in 2010.
