About the speaker

Mara Clarke has spent the past 20+ years helping people in the U.S. and Europe access safe abortions. She was a founding member of Abortion Without Borders and the founder of Abortion Support Network (Europe’s first abortion fund) which she subsequently ran for 13 years.

In 2023, Mara co-founded another charity, Supporting Abortions For Everyone, or SAFE. SAFE works with pro-abortion activists, networks and providers across Europe to support access to abortions for everyone who needs or wants one.
