Verdensbanken holder konference om vækst i Afrika i juli næste år

The World Bank will hold a major international conference to discuss how to achieve shared growth in Africa in Accra, capital of Ghana, on July 21-22 next year, a statement released by the bank said Monday.

The statement said Sub-Saharan Africa will be the sole continent where, on current projections, the millennium development goals for reducing poverty, hunger and illness are almost certain not to be met by the 2015 deadline.
