At this seminar, we will present the Pacific Alliance and all it entails from a Danish company perspective.
Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to ask questions concerning the markets, the Pacific Alliance and the free trade agreements between the countries and the EU.
The Pacific Alliance is a regional integration initiative formed by Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru in the spring of 2011. The goal is for the four countries to act as a unified economic bloc to negotiate and trade with other countries.
Member governments have committed to open markets, free trade policies, fiscal stability, openness to foreign investment, and strengthening trade relations with other countries.
Chile, Mexico, Colombia and Peru are four of the best managed and most resilient economies in the region. They have a combined population of over 216 million, and account for half of Latin America’s exports and around 35 pct. of region’s GDP.
All four markets have young populations, and rank in the top 60 of countries for ease of doing business. The countries provide a potential for productivity and production, consumption, savings and investment capacity.
